We’re looking for a Middle Full Stack Engineer (Backend-Focused) eager to grow into ownership of the product at MOJAM.
Currently, one of our internal projects is being developed by an outsourcing team, but we’re building our own in-house crew that will take over full technical responsibility and drive the product forward. You’ll join a small team of engineers who already own the product’s direction, so you won’t be figuring things out alone: expect code reviews, mentoring, and support from senior teammates. We expect to see a balance between fundamental engineering skills and a genuine drive to learn fast, take responsibility for your scope, and grow together with the product.

📍 What to Do
Backend Development & Integrations:
- Working with databases: models, migrations, query optimization
- API integrations (including Steam API, in-game data, aggregators, marketplaces)
- Implementing new features across the backend and frontend, with a stronger focus on backend development and integrations — with design reviews and mentoring support from the team
- Ensuring fast and stable performance of the website and services
Quality Tools:
- Code testing (unit and integration tests)
- Performance monitoring and error logging
- Getting the most out of AI tooling
Teamwork & Processes:
- Participating in sprint planning and task estimation
- Performing code reviews
- Maintaining and updating documentation
- Collaborating with the product team and content editors to achieve business goals
🦸 Your Superpowers
- 4+ years of development experience in product companies
- Confident hands-on experience with TypeScript, NestJS, and React
- Experience working with PostgreSQL and Redis
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with Git and Docker
- Drive to learn, ownership over your tasks, and comfort working autonomously with minimal bureaucracy
🤘 Bonus Points
- Hands-on experience with Next.js or TypeORM, Zod
- Experience with GitLab, AWS or Cloudflare
- Experience working on gaming projects, CS platforms, and API integrations
- Knowledge of CS2 and a genuine passion for gaming
