The war continues, and for Ukrainian businesses, this is a reality that requires constant adaptation. For 4 years now, we have been consistently donating to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and supporting those who need it the most. Despite working from different corners of the world, half of the MOJAM team is based in Ukraine. Some mojamers have joined the ranks of the Armed Forces, but they still remain an integral part of the team for us. Below, we share more details on how we support our country and contribute to common good as one crew.
MOJAM Support: 2025 Figures and Missions
We systematically assist the military, children, and volunteers. Our initiatives include:
- Ongoing Donations to the AFU: Since the start of the full-scale war, MOJAM has been transferring approximately $50,000 every month to support Ukraine’s Defense Forces. We actively help cover needs in the Kharkiv region and other areas experiencing the most intense fighting, and have been partnering with the KOLO Foundation for 3.5 years
- Donation Mission X2: An initiative leading up to February 24th, where MOJAM doubles all teammate donations to Ukrainian fundraisers. Last year, we donated $7,650 to foundations and volunteers trusted by our teammates
- Charity Challenge: Together with the Maya Foundation, we convert kilometers of physical activity in Strava into donations. In 2025, this resulted in $3,000, which provided 24 school boxes for children in the Kherson region
- St. Nicholas Day Wishes: Every year, together with the “St. Nicholas’ Reindeer” foundation, we make children’s dreams come true. In 2025, we fulfilled the wishes of 57 children from the village of Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region

A Rearguard That Truly Helps
For someone suddenly thrust into a different reality, it’s vital to know that civilian life hasn’t vanished — it’s simply on pause. At MOJAM, support means specific decisions gathered in our assistance policies:
- Retention of compensation and policies for mobilized teammates
- Wellness Bonus (psychological and medical assistance) available to the teammate’s family
- HR team availability even on weekends to provide timely support in any situation
- Guaranteed priority when returning to civilian work
From MOJAM to “RAROG”: Max’s Experience
We are already seeing our initiatives truly help mojamers during major life changes. Take Max, our teammate who joined the Defense Forces.
Max had been with MOJAM for over three years, starting as a recruiter and later switching to marketing. He grew alongside MOJAM through every stage, and at the end of 2025, he mobilized into the Armed Forces.
Max joined one of the most progressive structures within the Unmanned Systems Forces. The 427th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade “RAROG” evolved from a small company into a powerful separate brigade. Their story is a case study of how technology and proper management scale success on the battlefield as they consistently rank among the top ten unmanned systems units in terms of operational efficiency and enemy equipment destroyed.
We have everything that drives and flies. There are pilots, and there are those who sustain them: mechanics, financiers, logisticians. Not everyone is at a combat position, but everyone works for the result. Our commanders are very careful with people, and the training is extremely serious
Max says that the principles of civilian recruiting help him professionally strengthen his unit:
At MOJAM, I learned to look not just for any person, but for someone who fits the team. Communication experience taught me how to understand people, and in the army, this helps form effective crews as quickly as possible
Even simple things take on a different meaning when you’re in military uniform. For example, last year Max participated in the internal Yoda project and chose custom Nike sneakers as his gift, even though teammates suggested something more “practical.” We hope this small detail brings warmth and motivation even in the toughest situations.
I love our merch. I often sit in my MOJAM hoodie at the training center now. It’s about the feeling that you haven’t ‘dropped out’ of the team—that you continue to be a part of it
The BRO Mindset in Practice
When someone on the team faces a challenge, we look for a solution together rather than leaving them on their own. That’s why we support Max with everything we have after his mobilization:
When I write that help is needed, the HR team is always there, even on weekends. Teammates tell me they’re keeping their fingers crossed for me, and I can really feel that
The full-scale invasion has lasted for 4 years, but that also means we are 4 years closer to victory. MOJAM is navigating this challenge together as one team, because our goal is to support the country through actions both big and small. Every single day!
